‘City of Dreams’ set for spring release in Iran

‘City of Dreams’ is set to hit cinemas across Iran this spring.

The much-anticipated animated film ‘City of Dreams’, directed by Mohsen Enayati, is set to hit cinemas across Iran this spring.

According to the film’s public relations team, the final version has been completed, with Mostafa Hassan-Abadi as the producer.

The film is scheduled for release in mid-April, bringing a fresh cinematic experience for young audiences.

Hassan-Abadi revealed that after its screening at the 42nd Fajr International Film Festival, the team decided to make key revisions based on feedback from critics and viewers.

“We spent three to four months refining the film, making edits, and adjusting nearly 20% of the content from its previous version, originally titled ‘City of Visions’,” he explained.

The 90-minute animated adventure follows a brave boy named Arat, who embarks on a mission to save his city from destruction.

Alongside him are his loyal and cheerful friend Pasha and the intelligent Tamara, making for an exciting journey full of courage and teamwork.

Produced in collaboration with Soureh Cinema Organization, Mahva Complex, the General Administration of Cultural Affairs of Tehran Municipality, and Ayandeh Negar Studio, the film comes from the same studio behind the beloved animation ‘Benjamin’.
